Do you ever wonder (or remember!) what some of La Crosse's busiest intersections looked like decades ago?  Snap a mental image of these interesections as they are today, and then jump into the Curb Appeal online exhibit to compare these images to the intersections as they were in 2003 and in 1970.  You might be surprised to see how much La Crosse has changed--even in ten years!

Vist our Curb Appeal online exhibit.

When big news breaks in the La Crosse area, it tends to be remembered for years afterward--and it's not unusual for the story to resurface in the La Crosse Tribune--with updates, new interpretations, or commemorations--over and over again through the years.  In particular, topics like floods, unsolved crimes, generosity, and annexation have kept La Crosse area readers curious for decades.

If you count yourself among the curious, the Archives' online History Repeats Itself resource is meant for you!

Articles detailing several memorable events (spanning seven decades!) have been selected and digitized for use online any time or place.
