Abstract
Photograph album of the Benton and Dalton families of La Crosse, Wisconsin, containing images from the 1850s and 1860s. Photographs were primarily taken in La Crosse and Ohio, and many are identified. Individuals pictured include: Dr. John E. Dalton, Elisabeth Ruth Dalton, Minnie E. Pryor, Isaac Dalton, Willie Dalton, Willie F. Benton, Mary D. J. Benton, Thomas Benton, Charles Cassitt, Augusta Dalton, Alice Dalton, Alice H. Benton, Lucinda Turner, Elisa Turner, Sarah Turner, H. D. Clement, and "Grandpa" Harger. Notes in the album indicate that photos of the Jenks family were also present at one time.
