French Island

Many French Canadians settled French Island and the names Richmond, Jolivette, La Fleur and Marcou abound in this cemetery.  Believed to have been initially operated as a non-denominational cemetery by the Town of Campbell, the French Island Cemetery is maintained and managed by the Catholic Cemetery Association.
