Historical Note
The La Crosse Area Camera Club was founded circa 1937 in La Crosse, Wis., and is active as of 2017. The Club seeks to bring together members of the community who share a passion for the art of photography by learning and collaborating with other area professional and amateur photographers. The Club is affiliated with the Photographic Society of America and the North Central Camera Club Council.
Scope and Contents
La Crosse Area Camera Club Records, 1958-2012, contain various editions of the club's by-laws (1975-2005); the club's financial records (1980-2006), which contain a full set of detailed records for 1980-1981 season; member information, which includes member feature questionaires and member rosters (1970-2012), and programming materials (1958-2006), with the majority of materials dating 1998.
