Historical Note
The Floral Arts Garden Club was organized in September of 1965 and federated in October of that year. It was affiliated with the National Council of State Garden Clubs and the Wisconsin Garden Club Federation, Coulee District. This women's group was interested in gardening, conservation, and community beautification. The members learned about floral design and maintained community flower beds.The last known year for the club's existance is 1985.
Scope and Contents
The records of the Floral Arts Garden Club consist of yearbooks, membership cards, 2 photographs from 1967 and a constitution and by-laws paper. The yearbooks are artistically hand decorated and are dated from 1964-1984.
