- David J. Marcou, a native of La Crosse, Wisconsin, has worked as a writer, journalist, editor and photographer. He was the Western Wisconsin Technical College teacher and class advisor on the projects. This collection consists of drafts and proofs of the books Celebrate! A Collection of Stories, Reminiscence and Poetry (1997) and Celebrate II: A Collection of Stories, Reminiscence, Poetry and Photography (1999) both published by the Harry J. Olson Senior Center of La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Historical Note
Through 2006, the Writing for Publication at Western Wisconsin Technical College (now called Western Technical College) has been involved in the publication of eleven group books. Celebrate and Celebrate II are the third and fourth in that series, both compiled and published under the direction of teacher David J. Marcou.
Scope and Contents
This collection consists of drafts and proofs (1997 and 1999) of the books Celebrate! A Collection of Stories, Reminiscence and Poetry (1997) and Celebrate II: A Collection of Stories, Reminiscence, Poetry and Photography (1999) both published by the Harry J. Olson Senior Center of La Crosse, Wisconsin. Many students in the Writing for Publication class contributed to the works, advised by David J. Marcou.

The materials have been arranged chronologically by drafts and proofs.
